Brad Pitt Oklahoma'da doğmuş.

Annesinin ismi Jane'miş. Kickapoo Lisesinde okuyan Brad Pitt, spora o zamanlarda başlamış. Aynı zamanda müziğe de ilgi duyuyormuş. Fakat o hep aktör olmak istiyormuş. Bu yüzden mezun olmasına iki dönem kala üniversiteyi yarıda bırakmış ve California ya taşınmış. İlk rolünü almadan önce çeşitli işlerde çalışmış. Animatörlük, sürücülük, taşımacılık gibi.
